Support for hosts and participants
MyVox is designed for fast nearby participation. Hosts can start a room, launch a live poll, and manage simple moderation. People nearby can usually just tap the room to join, and an optional code helps only when several nearby rooms appear. Participants can vote once per poll and send positive reactions to the room-wide Vibe Meter.

Quick help
Hosts
- Keep MyVox open in the foreground while hosting a room.
- Make sure Local Network permission is allowed when iOS asks.
- Share the optional room code only if people see more than one nearby room.
- Use Freeze Joins or Rotate Code if you need to limit new participants.
Participants
- Stay physically near the host or active group.
- Allow Local Network access when prompted.
- Use the host code only if more than one nearby room appears.
- If the room does not appear, tap Refresh and ask the host to keep the app open.
Troubleshooting
- If nearby rooms do not appear, confirm both devices are on the same local environment and the host app is still active in the foreground.
- If joining fails, double-check the short code. Hosts can rotate the code at any time.
- If voting or reactions seem delayed, stay closer to the host cluster and keep the app active.
- If a participant has been muted or banned, the host must remove that moderation action before the participant can resume activity.
Safety and moderation
MyVox intentionally limits interaction surfaces. There is no public chat, no participant handles, and no negative reaction system in the current release. Hosts can mute or ban room members and can temporarily freeze joins to stabilize a session.
