MyVox Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 1, 2026

MyVox is built to support nearby live participation with as little personal data as possible. The current release does not require account creation, does not provide public profiles, and does not include participant chat.

Information MyVox uses

The current release uses limited session information needed to make nearby participation work:

• Room-scoped anonymous member identifiers generated on the device.
• Locally generated device signing keys used for message integrity and room admission.
• Nearby session activity such as votes, positive reactions, moderation state, and connection health metrics needed to maintain the room.

This information is used only to run the active room session and keep nearby participants in sync.

Information MyVox does not require

• No account registration
• No name, phone number, or email requirement inside the app
• No precise location collection
• No contact list access
• No advertising identifier use
• No in-app chat or public social profile data

Nearby networking

MyVox uses local network access to discover nearby rooms and exchange room messages among nearby devices. This is why iOS asks for Local Network permission. In the current release, room participation is designed around nearby connectivity rather than a personal cloud account.

Tracking and data sharing

MyVox does not track users across apps or websites for advertising purposes. MyVox does not sell personal information.

The current release is designed to minimize developer-side data collection. If a future version adds hosted recovery or backbone services, this policy should be updated before that version is released.

Children's privacy

MyVox is not designed to collect personal information from children. Because the current release does not require accounts or public profiles, personal data exposure is intentionally minimized.
